My Story
I am pretty sure I have spent my whole life looking for the right job or should I say career. Something that gave me purpose. Something that gave back to me as much as I gave to it. In 2010 my world flipped upside down as I lost my son. The following years that past just seemed to continue to crash to rock bottom with absolutely no light at the end of the tunnel. I couldn't even see a plateau for goodness sake. I tried job after meaningless job to fill voids. And now even more than ever finding the right career was meant to be. Finally one day, my best friend had a Scentsy party and that night I fell in love with the product. I mean when I tell you my years crashed , I watched a candle burn down a bath tub. But here I found safety. I also found memories. Even a spark of happiness. What is this?!?! It took me months before I decided to finally say yes to my sponsor about joining the opportunity. I kept thinking about how it wasn't right for me, I was too sad, my PTSD would get in the way, heck all of my friends already were buying from her. But what I didn't know at the time was that this was IT! I joined for the discount I would get. Then as I put my best foot forward, my business grew, I made new friends and I was free of all the restraints that held me back from my other "jobs."
